Tasting note: The red Valbuena has a shorter aging than the Vega Sicilia Único. It is a wine that comes from slightly younger vines and, in its composition, it is mainly Tempranillo and more Merlot than Cabernet Sauvignon. From its older brother, it has the garnet cherry color with orange rim, the ethereal expression of its alcohol content and the accent of its excellent oxidative evolution, the fruit of a well-tanned oak, a characteristic feature of the firm's reds. Its own personality highlights the memory of its varieties, with a nuance of ripe red fruit. On the palate, it has a leaner structure than Vega Sicilia Único but with the complexity of the vinous-fruity association.
