Vineyards grown in organic farming, located in Nou de Gaià, Tarragona. The sea breeze that originates in the summer during the mornings, protects from excess heat and allows a magnificent and constant ripening of the bunches. Low fertility sandstone loam soils.
The stripped grapes are stored in stainless steel tanks for 9 days maceration at a temperature of 22-24 ºC.
It is then pressed under low pressure to obtain this first press wine to make the Mèdol garnacha selection. The wine remains for 9 months with weekly stirring in stainless steel tanks, to obtain smoothness and glyceric texture and avoid reduction del wine. It is a wine that does not contain preservatives, a wine without added sulphites, only grapes, more natural than possible! Intense red color and a good layer.
The wine is very frank and clean. On the nose there are red and black fruits (plums, blackberries, ...). In the mouth, a lot of structure, intensity of red fruits, unctuous with marked tannins and a long aftertaste.
