Talisker 10 Years Old is the best known and most commercialized of the whiskeys from this house, the only distillery that exists on the Isle of Skye, a territory dominated by the MacLeod clan (who gave the land to the distillery, in exchange for 45 liters of whiskey a year, which were delivered on time until 1880). It is a single malt with a very particular profile, sharp flavor and the typical marine character that has made Talisker famous. It is enjoyed by adding just a few drops of water.
