The rums with which the rum appleton Extra 12 Year Old Blends are hand selected, and have been aged for a minimum of 12 years in American oak barrels.
Light mahogany color with golden edges. Oak aromas, walnuts, nutmeg, orange peel and vanilla. On the palate it is smooth and robust with fruity notes, cocoa, orange peel, brown vanilla and a hint of toasted almonds.
