The wine Garnatxa from Cims de Porrera is a benchmark within the DOQ Priorat, made only with Grenache old 40-100 years old planted on steep slopes on decaying licorella, red and black slate soils. The vineyards are owned by some farmers in the area but controlled by the Cims de Porrera winery.

The harvest was done manually in small boxes of 12 kilos to avoid deterioration. Once it arrived at the Porrera cooperative, where it is vinified, the bunches were destemmed, making the whole grape enter the wooden vats where it fermented, allowing the temperature to rise to 32ºC. During this period, daily punching was combined with some pump-overs to achieve a wine with a higher aromatic concentration. Later, the red wine Garnatxa de Cims de Porrera 2013 It was transferred to 225-liter French oak barrels where it rested for 16 months.
