
Fernando de Castilla is a sweet wine made from the Pedro Ximénez grape that is aged for 8 years.
It is a dark mahogany colored wine, with deep aromas of raisin. Soft and very sweet on the palate.
The previously sunny Pedro Ximénez grapes are pressed and left to begin to ferment and wine alcohol is added at the beginning until a final graduation of 15 °.
As it has not completed its fermentation, a large part of the sugars of the grape remains present in this must, which passes to its traditional aging system of criaderas and soleras.
