It is a reddish-colored French liqueur developed by immersing blackcurrant berries in extra-fine alcohol and being pressed to obtain the infusion. Its sweet taste and aroma are due to its delica balance between the amount of cassis infusion, sugar syrup and the quality of its ingredients.
