TASTING NOTES:
- View: In visual phase, it appears pale cherry red.
- Nose: On the nose, it presents pleasant aromas of cherry, spicy notes and mineral touches.
- Mouth: The palate is smooth, fruity and extraordinarily elegant. The finish is long and persistent.
APPELLATION OF ORIGIN: Douro, Portugal.
VINEYARD: Conceito Wines AGING: The wine is aged for a few months in used French oak barrels.
PREPARATION: The harvest is manual and transported to the winery in 20kg boxes. In the winery, Conceito Bastardo grapes are stepped on foot without destemming. Afterwards, the alcoholic fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
WINE PAIRING: Excellent to accompany cured cheeses, meat stews, grilled red meats, rice dishes, sausages, game meat and fish.
RECOMMENDED SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
