This is the fourth harvest of Incrocio Manzoni, a variety little known in our country and that Joan Milà (1943-2010) "discovered" and fell in love with on one of his trips to Italy. It is a variety called Manzoni Bianco or Incrocio Manzoni originating from the province of Treviso. In fact it is a cross between Riesling Renano and Pinot Blanc that Professor Luigi Manzoni carried out. It was one of the most interesting results after a series of different tests carried out in the middle del XNUMXth century with the aim of identifying new grape varieties that could complement those already existing in the area del Veneto.
This variety stands out for the complexity provided by PINOT BLANCO and the aromatic strength of RIESLING. Well conducted, it results in complex, aromatic wines with a great capacity for aging. It's a matter of trying it!
