Delicy and tasty "Taggiasca" variety olives, pitted and brined with an original recipe. The "Taggiasca", widespread in western Liguria, is the most appreciated, recognized and cultivated olive variety in Liguria (it is botanically similar to the Tuscan variety called Frantoio) and remains today one of the rare examples of production based on a "monoculture". The fruit has a cylindrical shape, elongated, slightly enlarged at the base, and owes its name to the abbey founded in the Middle Ages in Taggia, where the Benedictine monks of Montecassino settled around del 1100, giving impetus to the crop del olive tree in Liguria.
